There will be a Boy Scout car wash fundraiser to support Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA) on Saturday, July 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church (12200 W. Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington). A $5 donation is requested.
The scouts will also be collecting supplies, such as body wash/soap, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, deodorant, disposable razors, baby shampoo/body wash, formula, diapers/pull-ups, new baby clothing and sippy cups.
The scouts currently have enough toothbrushes and toothpaste thanks to Hagen Ranch Dental, Dr. Lisa Feldman and Parsons Orthodontics. Donations can also be made online at www.gofundme.com/MattEagle2016.
