The Loxahatchee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association will meet Monday, June 4 at the Okeeheelee Park Nature Center (7715 Forest Hill Blvd.). Adventures and refreshments begin at 7 p.m., and the program starts at 7:30 p.m.
Jeni Renzulli, a staff naturalist at the Okeeheelee Nature Center, will present a program on Florida raptors, such as owls and hawks, featuring living specimens Cyprus, a barred owl, and Able, a red-shouldered hawk. There will also be a “Tech Corner” discussion on the use of trekking poles.
