The Wellington High School Band Booster Association and Wellington High School would like to thank the Jacobs Family Foundation for their contribution to our fine arts program. This donation will help 20 of our students receive private music lessons every week at no cost to their families.
We know first-hand that a musical education helps students improve both their memory and cognitive abilities. We also know that the cost of private lessons, instruments, music books and stands add up very quickly and can deter students from following their passion in music.
We appreciate the Jacobs Family Foundation for assisting in funding this private mentoring program.
