Adele Helena Aleresky recently celebrated her 100th birthday at NuVista Assisted Living in Wellington.
Aleresky was born Oct. 22, 1918 in Leonia, N.J. Along with her husband, John, they managed a high-rise apartment building in Passaic, N.J. until retiring to Clearwater in 1991.
The couple was married for 56 years. Aleresky has one child, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
As a devoted Catholic, Aleresky still attends mass on a regular basis. Her life has not been without health struggles, as she battled breast cancer twice and has suffered from three broken hips.
Aleresky has been residing in Wellington at NuVista Assisted Living for the past four years.
