“We’re excited to be celebrating 50 years of providing free services that connect, enrich and inspire the community,” Library System Director Doug Crane said.

In September 1969, the Board of County Commissioners approved the operation of a free library service. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the library is hosting a yearlong celebration with signature events, historical presentations and themed activities. For more info., visit www.pbclibrary.org.
