The Conrad-Sunrise Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society will meet Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Mounts Botanical Garden main meeting hall on Military Trail in West Palm Beach, just south of Belvedere Road.
The featured speaker will be Dr. Michael Pusin on “My Favorite Plants.” Pusin is a retired dentist and snowbird from Baltimore. He is a past president of the Garden Club of Greater Baltimore and is a well-known speaker on gardening not just in Florida, but nationally. His presentation will cover both northern and southern plant varieties that are inexpensive and require little maintenance.
The general public is invited to attend. Those in attendance will have a unique opportunity to learn critical skills to growing and cultivating a variety of plants from one of the leading experts in South Florida. A selection of delicious refreshments will be available, a tradition of the organization at its monthly meetings. Learn more at www.conradsunrisehibiscus.com.
