The Central Region Child Find Diagnostic Team recently received a Florida Education Association-Retired Innovative Grant. The grant was matched by the Palm Beach County Classroom Teachers Association-Retired. The grant will be used for an informational video shown in the waiting room to educate parents of preschool children about the Child Find diagnostic process. The video will explain the educational terms and the Child Find process using family-friendly language in English, Spanish and Creole. Parents will also receive a computer link of the video for review and examination at home.
