On Thursday, Feb. 27, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the new sign in front of the Astor Cove neighborhood off Greenview Shores Blvd. in Wellington. The project came about due to the dedication and tenacity of resident Maryjo Shockley, who advocated many years for the new sign, supported by a number of other residents who live in the neighborhood.
