Wellington is partnering with the United Way of Palm Beach County, Flipany and U.S. Sugar to distribute snack kits-to-go and fresh local corn to residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. This free food distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wellington’s Village Park will serve as a drive-through pickup site on Monday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic will be directed to enter Village Park through 120th Avenue South and follow signage.

Wellington staff will wear personal protective gear as they handle and distribute the food. Drivers and passengers should remain in their vehicles and open their trunk or window in order to practice social distancing and keep everyone safe.

The village thanks Walgreens, Florida Blue, Wellington Regional Medical Center, Palms West Hospital, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Health Specialty Center, Healthy Partners and Humana for providing reusable bags for this distribution and for their continued support to the community during this difficult time.
