Leadership PBC Adapts Holiday Breakfast

Leadership Palm Beach County and its vast alumni base were not going to let a pandemic keep them from holding their annual Holiday Breakfast, an event that gives LPBC alumni and other community members an opportunity to reunite and celebrate the season together.

In order to keep the attendees safe and adhere to social distancing guidelines, the LPBC Holiday Breakfast Committee decided to hold a Drive-Through Holiday Breakfast.

At this Drive-Through Holiday Breakfast, scheduled to take place at Lot 2 of the South Florida Fairgrounds on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 17, guests will have the option to either remain in their cars for the whole morning or participate in outdoor, masked, socially-distant mingling. All guests will follow a driving path to grab their coffee, donated by local Floridian Coffee Roasters, and breakfast, provided by Johan’s Joe, and drop off their toy drive donations, which will be donated to four children’s charities: Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, the Pace Center for Girls, the Center for Child Counseling and Families First of Palm Beach County.

After they go through the stations, attendees will be directed to their parking spots, where they can either stay in their cars or get out and enjoy a socially-distanced, tailgate-style breakfast. In addition to the breakfast and toy drive, the morning will feature a fun holiday program, group and individual costume contests, a car decorating contest and a virtual auction.

LPBC invites all members of the community to join them in celebrating the season and supporting the four children’s charities by attending the Drive-Through Holiday Breakfast. To purchase tickets or sponsorships, visit http://tinyurl.com/LPBCholiday.
