Kool Runnings Ice Cream Café held a grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 29 at Veterans Park in Royal Palm Beach. “This was needed at this park,” owner Gerald Brown said. “Everyone deserves a treat while spending a day at the park.” With summer just around the corner, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Along with the signature ice cream, the café serves sundaes, shakes, popcorn, hot dogs and various pastries. While parents and children were waiting in line, a DJ played music for entertainment.
