The 2012 Unified Local Food Drive is underway now through Nov. 16 in Royal Palm Beach.
A joint venture among the Village of Royal Palm Beach and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office District 9, as well as local churches, businesses, schools and residents, the drive is collecting the following food items: stuffing, canned vegetables and fruits, boxed potatoes, soups and frozen turkeys. Drop-off locations are the PBSO District 9 substation at the corner of Royal Palm Beach and Okeechobee boulevards, the Royal Palm Beach Recreation Center and Village Hall.
