Qualifying for two available seats on the Royal Palm Beach Village Council opened Tuesday, Jan. 29. Potential candidates have until noon Tuesday, Feb. 12 to qualify for the ballot.
The Group 2 seat is currently held by Councilwoman Martha Webster, who is seeking re-election. As of this week, she had drawn one challenger — former Councilman David Swift.
The Group 4 seat is currently held by Vice Mayor Fred Pinto, who is also seeking re-election. As of this week, he had also drawn one challenger — political newcomer Justin Sallenbach.
The election will held Tuesday, March 12 with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
