The Kids Cancer Foundation held a Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 30 at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Wellington. September was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Park Avenue BBQ catered the buffet, while a DJ kept the dance music booming. There were face painters, characters, rock painting, bounce houses, a petting zoo and more. Kids, including many young cancer patients, had several jam-packed hours to have fun.
