The Relay for Life of Western Palm Beach County took place on Saturday, March 10 at the South Florida Fairgrounds. The theme “Blast from the Past for a Future Without Cancer” covered time periods from the 1920s through the 1980s. More than $130,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society to provide cancer patients with programs and services like transportation, wigs and other personal comfort items, as well as money that goes to research for a cure.
