In honor of Flag Day, American Legion Post 390 recently upgraded the flag disposal box at Rocky’s Ace Hardware, located at 13837 Wellington Trace in Wellington. Shown above, Store Manager Bill Butler stands next to the new American Legion flag disposal box at the store, which is the location of Wellington’s only sanctioned flag disposal box. Post 390 member Robert Wigersma periodically picks up the flags for ceremonial disposal. New flags made in the U.S.A. are sold at Rocky’s.
