Wellington High School’s Class of 2022 was celebrated Tuesday, May 17 when commencement exercises were held at the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center. Thousands of family members cheered as about 580 newly minted Wolverine graduates received their diplomas. The event included speeches by Superintendent Michael Burke, Principal Cara Hayden, Valedictorian Sydney Showalter, Salutatorian Jacob Hefty, Student Government Association President Katelyn Griffin and Senior Class President Kailey Madden.
