Star Liquors in Wellington celebrated becoming the owner of the world’s most expensive bottle of wine at a ceremony Friday, April 19. The $170,000 bottle of exclusive wine is limited to only 12 bottles, of which Star Liquors is the proud owner of one — the only one in the United States. Representatives from Penfolds, the Australian winery that makes the pricey wine, delivered it from Australia. Customers and spectators watched as the wine, which is housed in an ampoule-shaped bottle made by a glass artist, arrived in glamorous style, in a Bentley.
