As the pre-kindergarten students at Panther Run Elementary School finish up the school year, they are looking forward to the future. Approximately 55 students are leaving VPK (voluntary pre-kindergarten) and moving on to kindergarten. Some will remain in Panther Run, and others will attend another elementary school.
The students practiced hard to learn the songs they performed at the end-of-the-year preschool celebration. They sang songs such as “The Florida Alphabet Song” and “We All Sing in the Same Voice.” The students were presented with certificates stating that they are now prepared for kindergarten. Parents and family members were present for the celebration.
The Panther Run VPK staff is Kim McPherson, Jamie Fletcher, Michelle Guercio, Leslie Starr, Jill Gardner and Ysteb Mattei-Torres.
