PBC Clerk’s Office Seeks Volunteers

Palm Beach County Clerk & Comptroller Joseph Abruzzo.

The Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office is once again opening its doors to community volunteers.

The office needs volunteers to help with greeting customers, assisting with administrative duties and other responsibilities. Volunteers must apply and pass a background check before receiving a volunteer assignment with the clerk’s office.

“We know the important role that volunteers play in our community, and it’s our privilege to welcome them back to the clerk’s office,” Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Joseph Abruzzo said. “April is Global Volunteer Month and is the perfect time to connect people with volunteer opportunities at our office.”

The clerk’s office officially re-launched its volunteer program on April 20, during National Volunteer Week and Global Volunteer Month. The minimum age for volunteers is 15 with notarized parental consent, and students can earn service hours for their volunteer work.

Prospective volunteers can learn more about the clerk’s volunteer program by visiting the Volunteers page at www.mypalmbeachclerk.com.
